When your personal injury case turns on what happened inside that trauma bay, that OR, or that ICU — you need someone who has actually been there. 33 years of high acuity clinical experience, from the scene to the operating room, in your corner.
When a personal injury case hinges on what happened inside that trauma bay, that operating room, or that ICU — you need someone who has actually been there.
I'm Nate Reid, a Registered Nurse and former Paramedic with over 33 years of high acuity clinical experience. My career began in 1993 as a Paramedic — on the streets, in the field, making life and death decisions before patients ever reached the hospital.
After 8 years in EMS, I transitioned into nursing and have spent over two decades in the highest acuity environments in medicine — emergency departments, cardiac cath labs, ICUs, open heart surgery, trauma, orthopedic surgery, and neurological surgery.
Through Atlas Legal Nurse Consulting, LLC, I partner with plaintiff attorneys on personal injury cases involving trauma, orthopedic injuries, and neurological conditions. I analyze medical records with the eye of a clinician — identifying inconsistencies, causation gaps, and the clinical details that can make or break a case.
I understand mechanism of injury from the moment of impact through surgical recovery. I translate that complexity into clear, attorney-ready analysis that strengthens your case strategy.

Every service Atlas LNC provides is designed around one goal — giving plaintiff attorneys the clinical intelligence they need to build stronger cases, increase settlement value, and win.
Thorough clinical review of records identifying strengths, gaps, inconsistencies, and deviations from standard of care that are directly relevant to your case strategy.
Clear, organized timelines of care that make complex medical histories accessible to attorneys, mediators, and juries — without losing clinical accuracy.
Clinical assessment linking mechanism of injury to documented outcomes. Identifying where the defense's "pre-existing condition" arguments are weak — before they make them.
Identification and clinical evaluation of appropriate medical experts for your specific case needs — ensuring your expert can withstand cross-examination.
Preparing attorneys to question physicians and clinical experts effectively. Cross-examination strategy, understanding procedures, and identifying contradictions in testimony.
Clinical narrative support that strengthens the medical foundation of your demand letters — translating injury severity and future care needs into clear, defensible damages.
Very few LNCs can speak to the full injury continuum — from the accident scene through the OR and into recovery. Nate can. That's the difference in complex trauma cases.
Trauma, orthopedic surgery, neurological surgery, cardiac, ICU, and emergency medicine. The exact clinical environments where high-dollar PI cases live.
Atlas LNC works exclusively with plaintiff attorneys. No defense conflicts. No split loyalties. Your client's outcome is the only objective.
Every analysis is written for attorneys — not other clinicians. Clear, organized, and immediately actionable for your case strategy.
"Attorneys don't need more medical records. They need someone who can tell them what the records actually mean — and what they're worth."— Nate Reid, RN | Atlas Legal Nurse Consulting, LLC
